Student Housing Service Division Adjustment of Pandemic Prevention Measures
In accordance with: 2022/2/24 press release by Central Epidemic Command Center, "Guidelines for the Prevention and Management of Severe and Special Infectious Respiratory Diseases in College Campuses for the 2021 Academic Year" amended by the Ministry of Education on 2022/2/25, and resolution by the University's administrative team on 2022/3/1.
Student dormitories will have the following measures adjusted starting 2022 March 1:
- Health monitoring: Checkpoints will persist. Please take temperature when entering dormitories.
- Visitation: Visitor registration will perist, and is subject to regulation at each dormitory.
- Eating in public space: You may continue to take your mask off temporarily when eating. Please put it back on after you are finished.
- Dormitory activities: In accordance with Central Epidemic Command Center's regulations on 2022 Feb 22, mask mandate will be realxed, for more info see here (link).
- Home quarantine/isolation: Will continue to be held off-campus unconditionally. After 2022 Mar 7, 14 days will be reduced to 10 days.
- Self-health management: Will continue to be held off-campus unconditionally. Arriving students may be subsidized (link).
- Pre-check-in testing: After 2022 Mar 7, arriving students may choose to take a self-paid PCR test at a medical institution during the 6-7th day of their self-health management (non-compulsory). If needed you may contact the Student Housing Service Division, who will assist in arranging an appointment at NTU Hospital.
- Fever and other symptoms: Policy of rapid testing at home, and reporting positive test results and seeking medical attention due to regulations will persist. For full procedure click here (link).
